THE SUMMER BEFORE THREE
These two came to me during such a sweet little in-between moment in their lives. They had just eloped the day before and had recently found out they were expecting their first baby. Before life changed and they became a family of three, they wanted some photos that were just about the two of them. So we found somewhere big and beautiful, brought their elopement outfits along, and spent the evening documenting what life looked like right then.
HE CAME TO ALASKA WITH A PLAN

He reached out months before their trip to Alaska with a plan to propose. Together, we planned all the little details to make sure the surprise was just right. After traveling all the way from Maine, he asked her to marry him along Savage River, and the newly engaged couple spent the rest of the evening hiking through Denali and soaking it all in.
A SNOWY LITTLE DATE FOR TWO
CABIN FEVER
This couple came to one of my Valentine mini sessions and turned it into a little date night. Tea, a warm cabin, plenty of couch snuggles and snow falling outside. The whole experience was already planned for them, so all they had to do was show up, settle in and enjoy being together for a while.
MAKING A NEW PLACE FEEL A LITTLE MORE LIKE HOME
WHERE WE BEGIN
She came to me wanting those classic, summery engagement photos with mountain views, greenery and wildflowers. But this session meant a little more than that. She had recently moved somewhere new for her fiancé’s job and was nervous about leaving home behind. So we spent the evening making memories in this new place, celebrating their engagement and documenting a little piece of the life they’re beginning to build here.
